Network Extension

Xgeneration’s network extension services are a logical progression from our expertise in network installation, albeit with a set of extra challenges. “With network extension we’re highly involved with, and sensitive to, the daily running of a customer’s business,” explains MD John James. His teams work around the in-situ staff which means that a most extension projects will typically be condensed into one or two days, working out of hours and overnight if required.

Having taken a consultative approach to begin with, and having delivered a detailed plan of action – and accurate quote – Xgeneration is able to go into an office, perform an upgrade or maintenance and is very often gone by the time a member of staff sits back down at their desk.

Recent examples range from the complete re-cabling of an entire premises across the course of a weekend to installing a laser-based network link between two high profile, listed buildings.
