Xgeneration was founded in 1997, initially specialising in Apple hardware, software and systems for the design industry. It quickly blossomed into the multi-platform, multi-disciplined solutions provider it is today, partnering not only with Apple but also with HP, IBM, Xerox and a host of niche vendors.
“We’re a cross-platform company,” explains co-founder and MD John James, “which is where our name comes from. As overused as the phrase may have become, we’re the original one-stop-shop whether you work on Mac, Linux, Windows or Sun.” Xgeneration clients are primarily to be found within the M25 but are also appearing in Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds and around the UK.
Xgeneration’s clients come from a wide variety of industries, from real estate to design studios to call centres. Regardless of what these businesses sell, Xgeneration is at the heart of their infrastructure. They might shift an entire server farm from one location to the other on one day, or solve a nightmare printer jam the next. Either way, they make sure their customers businesses are always available, always working.
